"Uhhh, babe. Stop or you're gonna make me cum. I'm wound so tight. Wait, Brook. Uhhn...God." He was panting hard, but not protesting what I was doing to him.

I continued to move my hands up and down the shaft and then around the head of his dick. I squeezed as I pulled up toward the top and I knew he was close.

"Shhh, Cade. Just let it happen." I ran my open mouth across his back, placing kisses and sucking on his skin as his body tensed. I could feel his muscles constrict, and he groaned my name when he burst in my hand.

  "Bloody hell, Brook...oh, Brook..."

I kept pulling as he surged and pulsed in my hand, my grip lightening a little as he relaxed against me.

"I don't deserve you..." he said as he turned in my arms and lifted me, so my mouth was level with his. One arm wound around his neck, my hand sliding into his wet hair and I brought the other up to touch the side of his face. His eyes were languid, and he had a soft, satisfied smile on his lips. He was the sexiest thing I'd ever seen.

"I love you, Brook," he whispered against my mouth before he bent to kiss me, his tongue delving into my mouth. We kissed again and again, our mouths and tongues mating as our bodies would. He was the most delicious thing I'd ever tasted. His mouth finally lifted from mine, but I pulled his lower lip back into my mouth, not wanting it to end. "You taste so incredible. I love kissing you." His words echoed my thoughts.

I kissed his shoulder and turned my face into his neck. "Was that as good as your dream? Did I make it all better? I don't like it when my boy is suffering." I smiled into his skin.

"Mmmm.... I like the sound of that. You're so beautiful." He placed another small kiss on my lips and then turned to trade me places and set me down. He took down the shampoo and squeezed some into his hand before running his fingers through my hair and working up a lather.

His fingers on my scalp felt so good. "The hotel will kick us out for using so much water," Cade teased.

"Don't care. Uh, that feels so great," I said as I leaned back into his body.

The suds ran down my body, and his hands followed over my shoulders and down to my breasts where he stopped to cup them and play with the nipples. Tugging and tweaking them between his thumb and index finger. "Cade, its 4 in the morning. We have to be on set at 9. We should go to bed."

"I agree. Bed sounds good," he said the words, but I could tell he wasn't thinking about sleep. His tone was full of sex.

He turned me in his arms again to finish washing out the shampoo and then put conditioner through my hair. I just stared up into his face while his hands wound in my hair. "Do you know how hot you are? How fucking beautiful? I could stare at you forever."

"Hmmph. No.” His response was curt, and I was astonished.

"Why don't you see yourself? Not just how you look, but everything about you."

He shut the water off and pulled me from the shower, wrapping a towel around me as I kissed his chest.

"Brook, you're crazy. Sleep deprivation is clouding your judgment. Let's get you into bed, minx." He touched the tip of my nose with his finger.

He put a towel around his waist; we both brushed our teeth, and went into the bedroom.

He brought our clothes out of the bathroom and pulled the towel away from me and then discarded his own before pulling back the sheets and shutting off the lamp.

I crawled under the covers and to the far side of the bed as I waited for him to join me, but he knelt beside the bed and reached for my knees. His hands closed around them, and he pulled me toward him.

  "Cade?"

"Shhh. One good deed deserves another."

"But baby, it's so late," I said softly.

"Just give me two minutes, Brook. You know how good I can make you feel. I want to give you this. Just lay back and relax. Tasting you is so fucking hot, my love."

He parted my legs and hoisted them over his shoulders as he bent to ghost kisses over my stomach. He pressed his tongue against the skin over my pelvic bone like he would place a French kiss on my mouth, sucking as he lifted away from my skin. A few of those kisses had me breathing hard and arching toward him.

He blew on my skin and continued kissing lower as I lay back on the bed.

Two minutes, huh? Wow. We'll see.

One of his hands moved up my stomach and over my rib cage to close around my breast, his head moving lower toward the burning flesh that was crying out for his touch.

He nuzzled and kissed around the place I wanted him most, teasing and taunting until I was gasping.

  "Uh, Cade..."

"Okay, honey," he breathed against me, then in one motion he slid two fingers inside me and his mouth closed around the sensitive little bundle of nerves to suck gently on it.

"God, uh...Cade… that's amazing." My head fell further back, but my whole body tensed, instantly the orgasm started to build as his fingers thrust in and out of me and his mouth kept the sucking constant.

He was going to literally kill me. My breath hitched, and my hips moved against his mouth, which only drove him on even more.

"Mmmmm, baby, that's it, Brook," he murmured against my body.

My muscles trembled, and my body began to convulse around his fingers and spasm against his tongue. "Cade, oh Cade...mmmmm..." I moaned his name as I came hard, my back arching, hands going into his hair as I jerked with the strength of my response.

His touch lightened and finally stopped and then he moved up and kissed me deeply on the mouth. Sliding his arms around me and under my legs, he moved me up onto the pillows and crawled in next to me.

I snuggled into his body and wrapped my arms around him at the same time as his folded around me to pull me close. The warmth from his body was seeping into mine as I tilted my head up and ran a series of soft kisses along his jaw. It was stubbly and rough, but I loved it.

"How do you do that? You're so unreal."

"Do what, exactly?" he teased and turned to kiss my temple, leaving his lips to linger there.

"Know how to touch me, what to do to make me melt, and how to stop just at the right moment?"

"Are you serious?" His breath washed over my hair at the top of my head as he spoke softly. His velvet voice was so gentle in the dark, a slight smile behind his words.

"Yes. I mean, it's just so..."

"Love, I know you. I literally know every inch of your body. I know the way you respond to my touch, my kiss, my tongue. I can tell by the little tremors, the way you moan my name, how you get tight, where you're at, how close you are. I told you before; I replay every moment we're together over in my mind. I love that I can bring you to that, I love that you can bring me to that, and I love that I can choose."

My brow dropped over my forehead. "What? Choose?"

"Yes. I can choose how fast to make you come, based on what we're doing or if I want to make it last longer. If I want I can do that, and I want to, often. I love the sounds you make, the way you smell and taste, the way you move and respond. It's so hot. Bloody hell, just talking about it makes me rock hard."

I closed my eyes at the reverence in his words. He took my breath away.

"Unbelievable," I breathed into the skin of his neck.

"Why is that? Can't you tell yet, how much I fucking love you? How much you make me want you?" He turned more toward me and took my leg over his hip as he pressed into me. "Jesus, I can't think about anything else. It consumes me day and night."

I surged against him, desire at his words and arousal was making it impossible for me to do anything else. "I love you, so much. You make my heart ache with how much."

"God, Brook, we're going to die if we don't start getting some sleep, but damn if I care. I'll sleep in bloody New York."

My heart tightened at the reminder of our pending separation. He was right, this time wasn't to be squandered on something as meaningless as sleep.

He rolled me over and sank slowly into my body as his mouth found mine, and I met his hungry demands. Each long, slow thrust of his body into mine, each su
cking motion of his mouth, both of us clinging and pulling each other closer; we made love like it was the last time.

Emotion welled in my chest and I knew Cade felt it too. Just like he knew me, I knew him as well, and the longing we felt now was only a fraction of what we'd have to deal with in the coming months.

I wouldn't think about that now, as I lost myself in him.

I MOVED OFF TO the side as I waited for Martin to get the lighting checks right. Jennifer, Wendy and I were filming retakes of a scene in the Matthews boys’ apartment, just after Julia comes home from the hospital. Cade was running rehearsals first and then filming the scene where Ethan’s character, Aaron, tells Ryan of Julia’s accident.

Even though it was just a scene, it was unsettling. Cade and I were about to have a long separation. Not as long as the characters in the film, but anything could happen. Cade was going to New York and my lack of experience with it had me worried. He would have his entourage of bodyguards, but who knew what could happen.

There were only a couple of hospital room scenes left and we were scheduled to film them early tomorrow morning; when everyone gathers at Julia’s bedside and the major one where Ryan begs God not to let her die. That would be emotional and I could feel Cade gearing up for it the night before because even though he made love to me, we didn’t talk about the next day’s shoot. He shushed me, saying he had to do it in his head and we probably shouldn’t spend the night together. The thought of being without him made me sad. Silently, I began to move away from him but his arms tightened, and I settled back into his arms, but this morning he was gone before I woke up.

My phone buzzed in my pocket. Only one person texted me in the middle of the day, now that David was history and Wendy and I were barely on speaking terms. I hadn’t expected to hear from Cade before the shoot but, my heart beat a little faster as I opened his message.

Hi, love. Miss you. Denise just chewed me a new bum. Have you heard from Jeanne yet?

Getting into the wrong limo last night was already coming back to haunt us. Both managers had already been contacted by the bitch brigade at the studio, and the pictures of us were apparently all over the Internet, and Twitter accounts worldwide.

Jesus, so yeah, we took a ride in the same limo. So what? How did that translate into fucking? We sat across from each other, but apparently our feet touched for a second. Big fucking deal.

I didn't get it. Cade just laughed it off. For some reason, he thought it was hilarious.

Yeah, Mickey asked if I could get you to let him lick your, um... shoes. LOL

My fingers flew over the keys as I sent him a message.

What did you tell him? Haha!

That he has great taste in shoes.

I smiled seeing Cade's face in my mind as he read my words. His laughter would go all the way into his eyes. Beautiful.

Earlier that morning, I'd spoken to Lillian and made the final arrangements with her for her and Carter's trip into Vancouver for Cade's birthday two days later. The time was going so fast and next week, Cade would be jetting off to France for the Cannes Film Festival and I'd be left in Canada to film any retakes of scenes that didn’t include Cade’s character.

Stupid Pinnacle, they planned on moving me into Cade's hotel while he was gone, because it was one of Cade's demands at their meeting, but news flash: he was flying directly to Italy because by then, filming would be over.

Finished with Don’t Forget to Remember Me. My heart dropped at the thought.

The time had flown and I was doing a pretty good job of not letting myself be sad around Cade. It was obvious he was struggling as well and both of us were doing what we needed to do to keep each other happy.

Four nights ago, we snuck out at 2 AM because Cade wanted cereal and junk food when I didn't have any in my room. It had been fun to run around the store with no one watching us and we joked and teased each other about the stupid rag mag headlines we saw in the checkout line. There was a risk of getting seen, but Cade had an “I don’t give a fuck” attitude and I went along with it.

Cade's picture was on almost every one of them, and most were speculating about our relationship or my relationship with David. We felt almost normal until one of the cashiers caught us laughing and glared at us. Cade threw a wad of money at the woman and we bolted out of the store giggling.

It was another reason for the managers to get on our case, but we just wanted to have some fun. I never asked for the instant fame and constant stalking, or all the bullshit that came with it. It bothered Cade more than it did me. He was used to it for himself, but he was worried what would happen to me when I was in L.A. without him, and I hoped there would be decent security for him while he was in New York.

So much of Only Us would be shot on the streets of the city or in public places. What he put up with was unreal; screaming fans would undoubtedly be clamoring to see him or touch him.

Missing him was only part of what was bothering me. I was worried about him. Cade was so sensitive to things going on around him, more than most people and he would be uptight about it. Even though he was used to it, he’d confided how much he hated all of the attention.

My phone brought me out of my reverie as it vibrated in my hand.

Leah wants to get together with us tonight.

Ugh! My head fell back in exasperation. Cade!

  Really? With US?

Well, she said me, but I told her that she should get to know you, too.

I rolled my eyes as I typed.

I’m sure that thrilled the shit out of her.

I would probably order pizza to be delivered to my suite, so we wouldn’t give the paparazzi another photo op.

"Places, Brook, Jennifer!" Martin yelled from the main set. Jennifer moved toward me and smiled as she scratched at her temple.

"Damn wig. Hating it." She rolled her eyes as she said the words.

"Are you happy we're almost done? Will you be going back to L.A. next week?" I asked as we walked together onto the living room set.

"Yes. It will be a nice break, but I'm really looking forward to Italy, but I wish it were just a vacation. Are any of the others coming with us?"

"Not sure, why?" It seemed to me that she had something she wanted to tell me, but she hesitated to do so. I could only imagine. That bitch, Wendy, would probably show up uninvited.

She shrugged. "Nothing, just wondered. Ethan told me he might come over and I wondered if there was anyone else, that's all."

"Oh. Nope. Pinnacle won't pay for more than four of us, so I think it's just us, Cade and Gavin. Ethan mentioned it to Cade, but that's because he figures Cade will stay with me so he can use Cade's room. Isn't it silly? We're in this huge movie and we worry about paying for hotel rooms."

"Crazy," she said as she took her place on the couch in the house and the makeup people descended and began their touch ups.

Mickey’s smiling eyes were soon peering into mine.

  “Hey, girl.”

He was dressed in a flamboyant magenta shirt and tight skinny jeans.

“Hey,” I laughed. “Those jeans make your ass look good.” I grinned. “Maybe I can borrow them.”

Mickey laughed out loud and he brushed blush over my cheekbones. “The day my ass is the same size as yours is the day your man becomes my boy toy.”

My brow shot up. “My man?”

Mickey’s mouth pursed and his expression twisted in amusement. “Bitch, please.”

  I smiled, because I couldn’t help myself.

DINNER WITH LEAH ST. CLARE. I winced. Call me crazy, but I couldn't get enthused. She was cool, and I understood we needed to get to know her for the next movie, but there would be plenty of time in pre-production.

I guess it won't kill me to be gracious. For an hour or two.

I didn't want the evening to drag. The time I had left with Brook was dwindling, and I didn't want to squander even one moment. I'd be back to sending her those text messages with the countdowns until we could see each
other again.

I tried to shake it off. That was still almost three weeks away, and I wanted to enjoy every minute. I wished the studio wasn't sending me to France alone.

In our earlier phone conversation, Denise told me that they’d probably be placing me in situations where there would be women around because they were trying to downplay any of the public appearances with Brook.

"I thought we were beyond all of this rubbish, Denise. I'm bloody over it," I spat at her.

"Yeah, well, that was before you and Brook made your little run about town getting groceries and hopped in the wrong limo after the party. Are you trying to piss the suits at Pinnacle off? We just worked out the Italian Film Festival as a cover for your little vacation and for the shoot of A Love Like This to be more like you wanted, so what were you thinking? Are you trying to make my job harder, Cade?" she was pissed.

I sighed and struggled for a response. She'd always been good to me, and she was right, in a way.

"No! I just want to be normal and more; I want to be with Brook. Didn't I make that bloody plain enough in L.A.?" I sighed, "Besides, the limo fiasco was a mistake. We didn't do that on purpose."

"No, but you need to be more careful. The two of you could have been kidnapped for God's sake. Jesus, Cade!"

"We didn't even realize it until afterward! Nothing happened anyway." I tried to dismiss her concern, but she was right.

"No, nothing except there was suddenly documented proof that you and Brook were spending time together. Alone."

"We shared a bloody limo. We weren't having sex in the back of it! Though, that sounds like a good idea."
